Hi, my name's Linda and I make jewellery using buttons.

I started to help a friend who had discovered a number of buttons amongst her Mother's possessions after she had died and wanted to use them in some way. I also had a selection of buttons that I had acquired through the years.

We started with necklaces and then developed other jewellery alongside those. Having a massive selection of button jewellery is lovely and we would wear them with pride, then people started to ask where we had bought them and on discovering we had made them wanted us to make them for them as well, so that was when we decided to have a go at selling some. Our stash of buttons was quickly exhausted so we then had to raid friends and relatives selections and then also began buying them from a variety of sources.

We started selling at gift fairs and craft fairs and have now created this web-site -Button Moon.

Have a look round and see if something takes your fancy, if you want a specific colour that you are unable to see then contact us and we will almost certainly be able to create one just for you, buttons permitting. It might be worth mentioning that each necklace is an individual piece, it would be virtually impossible to make two the same.
